• Avoid exposure to allergies 
• Use plenty of warm drinks 

2. Medical and pharmacological treatment:-

• A. local or topical treatment :-

1. Decongestant :-

as  Oxymetazoline  and  Xylometazine 

• Otrivin®  
• Affrin® 
• Balkis® 

      B. Systemic treatment :-

• Anti- histamines :-

1. Telfast® 
2. histaine® 
3. Claritine ®
4. Loratin d® 
5. Clarinase® 

• Decongestant :-

1. Congestal® 
2. Flurest ®
3. Comtrex® 
4. other mainy drugs 

• Antibiotics :-

1. Macrolides  as ( Xithrone® , Zithromax® ,    etc.)
2. Cephalosporins 

• Analgesics and anti-inflammatory :-

1. paracetamol the most common 
2. ibuprofen 
3. as :-  Sinutab®        and    Sinupret®        Adol sinus®        Cetal sinus®        

• C. Surgical :-

1. If medical treatment with no response 
2. Functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS)
